
aespa announced that their first major concerts will take place next month and the second concert will be broadcast live internationally.
The two-day aespa SYNK: HYPERLINE concerts will take place on February 25 and 26 at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, South Korea. This will be the first appearance of the girl group, who debuted in November 2020 with the single “Black Mamba”. Other tracks such as “Next Level” and “Savage” are expected to be included in the concert setlist.
The band’s second performance on February 26 will be broadcast live to a worldwide audience via the Beyond LIVE streaming service. Details of the live broadcast will be announced later. Pre-sale tickets for SYNK: HYPERLINE will be available on January 27th through YES24 and general sale will begin on January 30th.
It was announced last week that aespa will be hosting its first virtual reality concert at this year’s South By Southwest festival, which will take place in Austin, Texas, starting March 10. These include “Black Mamba” and “Savage,” the latter of which was listed on Spotify’s most popular K-pop songs of 2022.
Meanwhile, Aespa’s “Girls” song “Illusion” was listed as the top 25 K-pop songs of 2022 according to NME. Lizzo, Odesza, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Uzi Vert, HAIM, Kim Petras and Omar Apollo and many more.
In a three-star review of on espa 2022’s Girls mini-album, NME wrote: “Rather than sticking to the formula that has worked so far, this new mini-album showcases fresh approaches to AESPA’s music.”
