Danny Farrol has died

This man LOVED everyone. I am saddened to announce that my lifelong friend Danny Farroll passed away last night. He sang at our Spaghetti Dinner in 2017. Danny was the ultimate walking singer playing guitar and accordion while singing Italian songs.

Danny was a wonderful person and volunteered every week at senior centers and hospitals in the coalfield area where he lived. Danny was a big supporter of law enforcement as he never failed to mention the Pennsylvania State Police and the Dauphin Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Danny was one of a kind. We never had a conversation without him asking how each member of my family was doing. This was followed by his talks and love for his wife, children and grandchildren.

Danny was so proud of his family and never failed to tell me about their accomplishments. You have been doing your work here on earth for 90 years, Danny FARROL, you will be greatly missed. You can now perform your song in the sky “Mama” in person.

Who was Danny Farrol?

For the past 15 years, Farole has been committed to raising funds for the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit telethon. He and his wife, Peggy, live in Nesquehoning. Danny has appeared live on 40 of the 42 American Cancer Society Teletrons.

After his mother died of cancer in 1976, Farole began helping with the telethon. He added: “You have no idea the depth of love I had for Buddy Wichulis. He was incredibly talented.

Just days before Wychulis died on Sept. 21, Farole lost his wife, Margaret. He claims that Buddy was the first to provide flowers after his wife was hospitalized.

He urged the volunteers to keep fighting and show love to each other. Cheryl Martuselli, Wichulis’ daughter, claims her father can often cure anything, but “one thing he can’t fix is ​​cancer.” According to her, Wychulis, “always the entertainer, on and off the stage,” was steadfast in beating cancer.
