Who is DJ Lawva?

DJ Lawva is one of the top DJs in Sierra Leone and the President of the Sierra Leone DJ Union.

Dj Lawva Music Live presents the best of Dallas B n Eddie 441. Top and exclusive radio DJ Samuel Levers aka DJ Lawva was unanimously elected unopposed as the first president of the recently revived Sierra Leone DJs Union.

DJ Lawva was a former announcer and DJ at Radio Demokratsia 98.1 FM. DJ Lawva is the first DJ from Sierra Leone and among the few DJs in the sub-region to feature on BBC 1Xtra on the Destination Africa program hosted by Kenya, DJ Edu on BBC sounds.

The late man was well known for his ability to mix Sierra Leonean and other African sounds. The late DJ was elected President of the Union in December 2020 at an event at Karina Complex, Kenema.

“DJ Lawva was one of the stalwarts behind the success of Radio Democracy and a household name in the music industry in Sierra Leone. He had ambitious plans to transform the DJ Union and bring the Union closer to SLAJ. He will certainly be greatly missed.”
