“Fabrizio Romano Discusses Manchester United’s Plans After Signing Wout Weghorst”

The January transfer window has been a busy time for Manchester United, with the club signing two new players in Jack Butland and Wat Weghorst. Butland arrived from Crystal Palace to cover the sudden departure of Martin Dubravka, while Weghorst joined on loan from Besiktas. According to Fabrizio Romano, however, United are likely to close their business in the market before the summer. This is despite manager Ten Haag’s claims that he is still looking for opportunities to strengthen the team.

Nevertheless, it appears that Aaron Wan Bissaka is unlikely to leave in January, as he put on a stellar performance in the derby against Manchester City. With the current squad and the atmosphere at the club, Ten Haag is seemingly content with the team as it is. As such, it appears that United will not be making any more signings this window, although a new central midfielder and striker may still be on the cards.

Manchester United intends to reduce its operations in the market during the current January transfer window.

United have currently signed two players – Jack Butland and Wat Weghorst.

Both loan deals, Butland arrived from Crystal Palace following the sudden departure of Martin Dubravka from the Theater of Dreams.

Newcastle withdrew the stopper so United turned to Butland to cover the keeper’s team.

The Red Devils also acquired Weghorst until the end of the season from Besiktas. Weghorst underwent a medical and was officially presented by the club.

The Dutchman was in attendance at Old Trafford and watched from the stands as his new team-mates came from behind to beat Manchester City.

According to Fabrizio Romano, United are likely to close their business in the market before the summer.

Manchester United are done for January unless Aaron van Bissaka leaves, in which case they will consider signing a new back-up right-back.”

“Ten Haag is happy with the current squad and the atmosphere at the club.”

“That’s why they [club managers] I have no great desire to change anything.

Wan Bissaka is unlikely to leave in January. The Englishman put on a defensive masterclass in the derby yesterday and appears to have earned Ten Haag’s trust.

It was also recently reported that the Ten Hag are now interested in keeping Wan Bissaka and have shelved plans to bring in another right-back.

But Romano’s message that United is complete contradicts Ten Haga’s claim. Ten Hag insisted the team is still active in the market and will be ready to take advantage of any opportunities that arise.

The fact that the team needs to be strengthened is obvious. A new central midfielder is needed, especially after To Donny van de Beek injury. The team can also use another striker.
