Jenny from BLACKPINK joined Vogue Korea for a photoshoot and interview!
On January 17, Korean Vogue published a gorgeous photo of Jenny. Jenny participated in a photoshoot in Berlin during BLACKPINK’s European tour. When asked how she finds balance in her life when she is constantly moving from one place to another for her work, Jenny replied: “I felt it was important to create an environment where I felt as comfortable and familiar as possible. So whenever I go on tour, I carry a lot of luggage with me, like I’m moving into my room, but apart from anything else, my pillow is the most important thing. I always carry a pillow with me that I always use at home even when I go abroad.”
When asked if there is something she always does when she visits certain cities, Jenny replied: “I like to be in places where I can feel the unique atmosphere of that city. Sometimes I go sightseeing or visit markets. During the tour of Europe I visited the Christmas markets in every city.’
When asked how it feels to be a role model, Jenny remarked, “It’s such an honor to be someone’s role model and I’m grateful for that. I hope this year will also be the year in which I can set a better example to those who supported me.”
Jenny also shared what inspires her lately and what project she might start based on that inspiration. She said: “I draw inspiration from the smallest things. I am inspired by the shape of the clouds I encountered that day, the magazines and the people I happened to meet along the way. I recently got a lot of inspiration from seeing different people and buildings while traveling to many cities in Europe.” for a time.”
2023 for Jenny started with BLACKPINK world tour. When asked what she wants to do this year as a ‘regular person’ as she described herself earlier, Jenny replied: ‘Last year was very busy and hectic. This year, apart from my work, I want it to be a year where I take better care of myself and my people. I hope I can spend more happy and enjoyable time with the people I love.”
