I’m very good at [playing against a tennis ball]. Do you know why? Because in The Mummy Returns, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was just a piece of scotch tape on a stick.

Unfortunately, these two action stars never acted together. Both have incredible charisma and shine on the big screen. Maybe the two will finally be able to act together in a movie in the future. Personally, I’m still rooting for the possibility of another installment of the OG Mummy franchise, and given the advancements in technology since the release of the last film (which came out in 2008), such a film would look spectacular — and work with an excellent script. too. If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past few years, it’s that it’s never too late to move on, and I think people will be happy to see this duo again.

Many modern action/fantasy films use computer graphics to create characters that would be difficult to create in practice. This creates problems for actors who often have to play with inanimate objects in a green screen environment. Marvel veteran Mark Ruffalo commented on how “inhuman” the process can be at times.

“The return of the mummy” was clearly a learning experience for the actor, who subsequently starred in many films focused on computer graphics. He starred in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, which he mentioned during a conversation with Drew Barrymore. He also goes on to direct the HBO series Fatal Patrol Max, which has incredibly weird visuals. But in his new film “The Whale” the actor managed to really immerse himself in the world of practical effects. In the film, Fraser wears a suit that mimics the weight his character carries, and the suit was designed with the laws of physics and gravity in mind. It’s an incredibly physical performance that really shows his range as an actor. In the coming years, it will be interesting to see if the star ever returns to effects-heavy films or reunites with The Rock.
