On January 19, industry insiders announced that ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, Ha Yun-kyung, and Cho Woo-jin will star in the new series “Bulk” (working title). “Bull” is a crime series in which a police officer, a matchmaker who is part of the mainstream of the field, and a prosecutor team up to hunt down dark forces against the backdrop of the Gangnam night.
In response to the announcement, Cha Eun-woo’s agency, Fantagio, shared: “[Bulk] is one of the projects for which he received an offer. This has not yet been confirmed.” Cha Eun Woo previously impressed with his acting transformation playing the role of exorcist John in ‘The Island’ and has confirmed his appearance in a new drama based on the webcratcher ‘A Good Day to be a Dog’ (working title).
Ha Eun Kyung is also in talks to star in a drama as a prosecutor. The actress impressed with her character Choi Soo-yeon in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and will continue to showcase her diverse acting abilities in 2023. Ha Eun Kyung’s upcoming drama “See You in My 19th Life” is also set to premiere takes place this year.
Meanwhile, Jo Woo Jin’s agency Yooborn Company confirmed the same day that the actor has accepted his casting offer and will play a veteran detective in the drama.
“Bulk” will be directed by Park Noo Ri, who previously worked on the movie “Money,” and the broadcast schedule has not yet been determined.
