There’s a new poster and teaser in the upcoming Coupang Play series “The Bait”!
Lure is a crime thriller that tells the story of a lawyer turned homicide detective who seeks the truth about unsolved past cases while investigating current crimes. The series marks Jang Keun-suk’s first drama role in five years and will also star Heo Sung-tae and Lee Elijah. Jang Keun-suk plays Goo Do-han, a detective who is determined to uncover the truth after Noh Sang-cheon (Heo Sung-tae), the culprit in South Korea’s biggest fraud case, is named as a suspect in a modern-day a case of murder. although he is supposed to have died eight years ago.
The new poster depicts detective Goo Do Han, who is persistently investigating a murder case, and Cheon Na Yeon (Lee Elijah), a reporter who, together with Goo Do Han, uncovers the truth about this case.
The characters are surrounded like puzzle pieces by images of a bloody murder scene, a note about the murder of Noh Sang Cheon, who is known to have already died, a crowd cheering for someone, and a man engulfed in flames.
These puzzle pieces fit together to complete the silhouette of But Sang Chon, who is known as the most feared con man in the history of crime. In particular, the faces of Noh Sang Cheon and Goo Do Han are placed next to each other, foreshadowing a sharp confrontation between them.
