Glorilla have teamed up with Moneybagg Yo to record a new collaborative single ‘On Wat U On’ – listen below.

The 23-year-old rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, is featured in this year’s NME 100, a survey of big new artists for 2023.

Today (Jan. 12), Moneybagg Yo — also from Memphis — shared a collaborative song expressing frustration with efforts to mend the strained relationship.

In the accompanying video Bag and Glorilla describe a couple fighting over trust issues and infidelity.

“Asking me about the bitches in town that she thinks I’m knocking/ Look in her eyes before I lie, I’d rather not tell her anything,” the ex spits. In response, Gloriala reads, “Not much to say now, eh, fool?”

A heated argument begins in Bagg’s car and continues in the couple’s apartment and on the street. In the final minutes, Gloriala picks up a rock and throws it at the windshield of her boyfriend’s car. Set yourself higher.

Praise for Gloriala in the NME 100 2023, Kayan-Shian Williams wrote: “In just eight months, Gloriala has achieved more than a typical rising star: breakout single ‘FNF’ made her a damn hot name in the US rap world, while follow-up ‘Tomorrow 2′ is a party anthem where she reunites with her ” cousin’ and mentor Cardi B — stormed the US charts.

“The latest track has since earned the 23-year-old a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Rap Performance category, proving that love for this Southern hip-hop star undoubtedly knows no bounds.”

The aforementioned collaboration with Cardi B came in at number 38 on NME’s 50 Best Songs of 2022, and Glorila’s “Anyways, Life’s Great” was named one of the 20 best mixtapes and EPs for last year.

Glorilla will embark on a US tour on January 27th — see the full schedule and find remaining tickets here.
