Who Was KJ Montgomery?

KJ Montgomery was a longtime Shaker Heights Municipal Court judge who retired just over halfway through her fifth term in that position in August 2021. She earned a UG degree at Heidelberg University and then became a member of the School of Music at the same university. She then attended law school at Cleveland State University.

She served the community through her services from 1994, the year of her joining, until her retirement in August 2021, making a total of nearly 27 years. Her successor as Shaker Heights Municipal Court Judge was Judge Ann Walton Keller.

KJ was a naturally gifted singer and musician with a stellar voice.
