Who was Haydn Charbonneau?  An 18-year-old man who died in a collision on Highway 11/17 in Dorion has been identified

On January 11, 2023, a two-vehicle accident in Ontario claimed the life of a victim who has been identified as Haydn Charbonneau. East of Thunder Bay, in Dorion, Highway 11/17 was the scene of a two-vehicle crash. A resident of South Porcupine, Ont., later named by authorities as Hayden Charbonneau, 18, died as a result of the collision. After his death on Tuesday, his family allowed authorities to release his name.

Who was Haydn Charbonneau?

The victim of the January 11, 2023, two-car crash in Ontario has been named as Haydn Charbonneau. There was a two-vehicle crash east of Thunder Bay in Dorion on Highway 11/17.

A resident of South Porcupine, Ontario, later identified as Hayden Charbonneau, 18, died as a result of the collision. After he died Tuesday, his family members allowed authorities to release his name.

According to the statement below, it was learned that the victim was a hockey player and his team was saddened by his death.

Ontario Freeway Car Crash 11/17: What Happened to Haydn?

Two pickup trucks apparently collided around 5 a.m. not far from Dorion Loop Road. Charbonneau, the driver of one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries and other passengers had to be extricated from the cars.

The highway was closed for most of the day after the collision. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Other emergency services that responded to the incident were Superior North EMS, Dorion-Hurkett Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding fire departments.
