Because of the horrific atrocities Jeffrey committed, his grandmother had to spend most of her life in constant fear, until she passed away in 1992.

What happened to Joyce Flint?

According to a report published in the Los Angeles Times, Joyce moved to Fresno, California, not long before Jeffrey Dahmer was taken into custody by authorities. Before starting her role as a case manager for the Central Valley AIDS Team, she managed a retirement home at that location. She remained active in HIV and AIDS care until her death in 2000. According to an interview Joyce gave to Hard Copy, Joyce kept in touch with Jeffrey weekly while he was behind bars by calling him on Sunday evenings. . Joyce also said that while Jeffrey was imprisoned, she visited him at least once.

What happened to David Dahmer?

After David Dahmer completed his education at the University of Cincinnati, he took on a new identity, changed his name and disappeared. Since then, neither his whereabouts nor his name have been reported. David has completely detached himself from his older brother and his horrific actions, and he has not taken part in any interviews related to his brother. In 2022 it is not known whether David is still alive.
