Candy’s husband heartbreakingly revealed that he no longer has anything to live for because their son gives him meaning.

Kendi Wanene fell ill during pregnancy and the baby was born with problems. She was admitted to the hospital two weeks before giving birth and it somehow affected the baby in her womb.

They tried to induce labor three times before I went into labor, but the baby wouldn’t cry and had trouble breathing, according to Candy.

Cause of death of Candy Wanenes’ son:

Kendi Wanene’s son’s cause of death was HIE. “My son suffered from HIE which resulted in cerebral palsy at birth,” Candy Wanene shared about her son in a previous interview.

Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is a type of brain injury. When the brain experiences a decrease in oxygen or blood flow, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), a type of brain dysfunction (brain damage), occurs.

HIE can happen before birth, during labor and birth, or after birth. HIE also damages the brain permanently.

Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is a potentially fatal condition at birth that affects full-term infants. Affected infants have a 40-60% mortality rate by 2 years of age or have significant disabilities.

Stages of HIE:

• Hypoxic: The body or part of the body is not getting enough oxygen.
• Ischemic: The body is not getting enough circulation or blood flow (blood flow delivers oxygen).
• Encephalopathy: brain damage or disease of the brain.
• Stage I – Describes mild HIE disorders.
• Stage II – Describes moderately severe HIE disorders.
• Stage III – Describes severe symptoms associated with HIE.

Treatment:

Therapeutic hypothermia is used to treat HIE. Also called cooling therapy, where a cooling blanket and machine are used to lower your baby’s body temperature. This reduces the occurrence of brain damage.

Epifani, a developer who goes by social media aliases, also wrote a moving obituary in which he wished he had protected his late child.

“I always thought I would protect you.

I always thought I would solve everything for you.

I always thought you’d never leave me.”

Epiphany said, “Now that the son is dead, I have no reason to live.”

“Now you’re gone and I’m not sure what to do or how to feel. Son, you were my reason to live, and now I have none. Rest in peace my boy.💔💔🥹😭,” he added.
