KGF Chapter 2 is a Kannada language action film. it is the second installment in a two-part series, it serves as a sequel to the 2018 film KGF chapter 1. The movie follows the assassin Rocky, who after establishing himself as the kingpin of the Kolar Gold Fields, must retain his supremacy over adversaries and government officials, while also coming to terms with his past.
After 11 days in the theatre, the movie continues its dream run at the box office and with collections of Rs 818.73 crore has become the seventh highest-grossing Indian movie. The movie surpasses Ranjnikant starring 2.0 which had earned 800 crores worldwide.
But other movies like shahid Kapoor’s starters movie Jersey are not getting their moment. it earned its lowest over the first weekend when the sales of the ticket in the theatre were always high because of the large demand from the consumers.
As per the websites like BoxOfficeIndia.com, Jersey, a Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial, earned Rs 5 to Rs 5.25 crore at the ticket windows. The news was depressing after knowing the fact that jersey is a remake of the National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name, which was also directed by Tinnanuri. It starred Nani in the lead role and was a huge box office hit for the actor.
According to a website in week 1, the movie earned 720.31cr. in the following week, the speed pick up an earned 883.56 cr in the second week after the release in the theater all around the country.
The movie is originally filmed in the kannada language after that dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil.
The Hindi version has been the most successful film in Hindi in the post-pandemic era. KGF 2’s Hindi version has earned ₹321 crores in earnings at the box office. It has surpassed the earnings of other high-grossing Hindi films like Sooryavanshi, The Kashmir Files, and RRR’s Hindi version.
