Introducing the new drama “Heavenly Idol,” a captivating story of High Priest Rembrari’s unexpected journey from a respected and powerful pontifex to a struggling idol in the entertainment industry. The new drama “Heavenly Idol” shared a fun first teaser!
Adapted from a popular web movie and web novel, “Heavenly Idol” tells the story of High Priest Rembrari, who one day suddenly finds himself in the body of an unknown idol, Wu Yeon-woo, a member of the Wild Animal Group. Kim Min-kyu will play the high priest of Rembrari, and Go Bo-gyeol will play the role of Wild Animal’s manager and Woo Young-woo’s main fan Kim Dal.
The new teaser begins with of Rembrari narrative: “My name is Rembrari. Pontifex who serves God Redlin,” stating that he is a respected and powerful priest who cares for the people.
In the next scene, however, Pontifex Rembrari opens his eyes only to suddenly find himself on stage in the middle of a live performance with the unpopular idol group Wild Animal. Confused and not knowing what to do, the majestic priest looks lost as he awkwardly covers his stomach with his hands, feeling unfamiliar in a cropped top. An excited Rembrari then continues to attract attention as he shouts, “I can’t dance!” creating much chaos on stage.
Soon after, the struggle becomes real when he comically tries to learn a dance number. Returning home, he is faced with another terrifying fact: he lives with four other men in a small and crowded dormitory. At the end of his long and confusing day, Rembrari slowly closes his eyes as he finally comes to terms with his new reality: “From now on I am an unpopular idol of Ion W.
