Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Taxi driver” tells the story of a mysterious taxi service that dispenses justice and revenge on behalf of victims who cannot get help from the law. After a successful run in 2021, “Taxi Driver” ranked fourth among all SBS Friday-Saturday dramas.
The script reading was attended by writer Oh Sang Ho, director Lee Dan, and actors Lee Jae Hoon, Kim Ye Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Pae Yo Rim, Shin Jae Ha, and more.
The director opened the reading by saying, “I wish the best when the beauty of the road becomes the beauty of the result.” Screenwriter Oh Sang Ho added, “There are too many villains to forget about, and satire and humor are the best tools. If we focused on completing our universe in the first season, in the second season we will use that worldview to make the genre more colorful.”
