The virtual idol show “GIRL RE: VERSE” announced the departure of Olivia He due to health reasons.
All 30 members of “GIRL’S RE:VERSE” are real female K-pop group members who hide their names, faces and real personalities to compete as new virtual characters under different aliases. The contestants’ true identities are not revealed until they are eliminated, but Olivia Hye was speculated to be a member of ‘Chonky Cat’, which has now been confirmed.
Earlier, on January 20 “GIRL RE: VERSE” it was announced on social media: “Due to health reasons, Chonky Kat is unfortunately ending her tour with W and returning to her hometown with Cat Star. Thanks to Chonky Kat who has done everything possible so far and we ask for a lot of support for the future of Chonky Kat.”

LOONA’s Olivia Hye is currently involved in a legal dispute with the group’s agency BlockBerryCreative with LOONA’s nine-member group (Heejin, Hasul, Yejin, Kim Lip, Jinsul, Chorri, Yves, Go Won, and Olivia Hee), excluding Choo (who left group in November), HyuNjin and Vivi, who filed orders to suspend their contracts last November.
The agency initially denied the claims, but earlier this month it was reported that of those nine injunctions, four members won their cases and five lost. Olivia He is one of five participants whose contracts are subject to the previous provisions and therefore not yet deemed suitable for suspension. Although BlockBerryCreative indicated that they would release a statement regarding these reports at a later date, they have not yet done so.
