Manchester United Women produced a stunning performance to beat Liverpool 6-0 in the WSL at Leigh Sports Village. United kept the pressure on until the very end and it was an impressive win for them, putting them ahead of Arsenal in second place. The match was witnessed by a record 7,666 crowd, who were treated to a scintillating display of football from the Red Devils.

Liverpool had a couple of half-chances but one was well blocked by Battle and Earps comfortably won the second.

United were again trying to find a way through Liverpool’s defense and their fourth shot came from a corner which Liverpool had initially saved. When he returned, Turner was able to make contact with him and push him through the gate.
