How to enable NIKKE Horizontal/Landscape mode on Android and iOS
When D-OUTSIDERS version update was released on January 12, 2023, Level Infinite also implemented a feature that previously required workarounds: rotating the screen sideways and playing in landscape/landscape mode. We previously told you how you can use external apps to play NIKKE in landscape mode, but now you no longer need workarounds to play the shooter in your chosen orientation.
To enable landscape/landscape mode in NIKE, players just need to go to settings and then follow these steps:
- On any screen except battles, ads, and visual novels, click the menu icon (4 windows) at the top right of the screen.
- Click Settings.
- Click on the “Nearby” tab.
- Click “Horizontal” in the “Screen Orientation” section.
- In addition to changing the orientation in this section, you can also change the frequency of the live wallpaper playback settings.
- To change the screen orientation back to portrait, just click “Portrait”.
Although these steps will allow players to play NIKE in landscape/landscape mode on mobile it’s still pretty weird that we have to open multiple windows just to change the orientation when in other games you just have to turn the phone sideways. Still, having this option is better than nothing, so for me it’s an infinite level ticker.
The new D-OUTSIDERS The update also brought new characters to the game, including three characters locked behind the rehab system.
