Despite the fact that “Game of Thrones,” aired nearly four years ago, the HBO fantasy show lives on in other forms, most notably thanks to the spin-off House of the Dragon . However, the Bastard of Winterfell is back in the present day in an amazing way. Recently, fans couldn’t help but notice that EDM artist Skrillex looked eerily similar to Jon Snow “with a stylist” after ditching his famous emo image.
It can definitely be a surprise when celebrities show off a new style that is very different from what fans are used to seeing in sports. And that can definitely be said for Skrillex right now. DJ’s long hair was practically a staple, so it’s surprising that he decided to cut it off. After seeing the picture, Twitter user couldn’t help but point out that he looks like a version of Jon Snow who’s been given professional style advice, and I can’t say they’re wrong:

That’s definitely one way to describe the change! That’s not the only thing people are pointing out about Skrillex’s new feature. One fan raised a TikTok comment, in which he joked about the artist, whose real name is Sonny John Moore, as well as the Snow cosplayer and some rapper:

I definitely didn’t have Skrillex shaving his head and looking like Jon Snow on my 2023 bingo card. Despite the big change, it doesn’t seem like many people are upset about the DJ’s transformation. Although some comments give the impression that it will be difficult for many people to separate the performer from the beloved Game of Thrones actor in the future:

The physical resemblance between Skrillex and Jon Snow actor kit harington is awesome and funny and the fact that so many people seem to agree with him is also funny. The love for the character will likely continue as a Jon Snow spin-off is in development and Harington will return to reprise the role. Maybe at some point Skrillex will agree to guest star. I mean, this wouldn’t be the first time a musician has appeared on the popular HBO franchise. (Remember when Ed Sheeran appeared on Game of Thrones?)
However, by Skrillex the new hairstyle could be a sign of a new era for him. He’s already released new music in 2023 and that, along with the new haircut, seems to suggest he’s looking for a fresh start in the new year. Of course, he probably wasn’t expecting a comparison to Jon Snow, although one would think that might give him some street cred among Thrones fans moving forward.
