A Story of Seasons: It’s a Wonderful Life — farm simulator. If you’ve already played Harvest Moon, then you’re in luck, as Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon are basically the same. Players will have to manage a farm and earn money from it. They do this by planting and growing crops, raising animals for milk or wool, or finding other goods to sell. The player can then use their money to buy seeds and other animals, increasing their income.
As with most farming simulators in this vein, the player can woo certain brides in the game, allowing them to marry the bride in question. However, unlike other Story of Seasons games, marriage is a requirement. A Wonderful Life differs from most other Story of Seasons games in that it has a clear storyline to follow. For example, other games like Friends from Mineral Town basically give the player the freedom to do whatever they want. In A Wonderful Life, however, the player has a very strict schedule to follow. The player must complete different tasks each year while the player character ages each year. As I recall, this is one of the few, if not the only, Story of Seasons game where the player’s child actually becomes an adult.
There are other farming-related features, such as creating hybrid seeds, as well as exploring ruins for treasure.

The player has inherited the farm from his father and his father’s best friend who leads him to the Valley of the Forgotten. There, the player takes over a farm and meets the inhabitants of the valley. Will he stay on the farm and take care of her after a year of probation, or will he stay, start a family and live a wonderful life?
