The songstress has teamed up with BTS’s Jimin to create the single “VIBE” and it is nothing short of amazing. Taeyang revealed in a live countdown held an hour before the song’s release that it was Teddy-hyun who initially suggested the collaboration between the two idols. Both Taeyang and Jimin discussed their excitement to work together and the end result exceeded their expectations. The music video for “VIBE” showcases the classic hip-hop duo, and fans are already loving the collaboration. An hour before the release of “VIBE,” Taeyang held a live countdown where he talked to fans and discussed his long-awaited comeback.
First, Taeyang greeted fans, saying: “I’ve missed you all so much. I haven’t greeted you like this in so long. I am healthy and feeling well. This is the first time in 6 years that I’m releasing new solo music since my third album was released in 2017. Since it’s been so long, I’m very nervous. »
Then BIG EXPLOSION member talks about his collaboration with Jimin and how it came about:
“About 2 years ago, BTS members were not as active individually as they are now. I’ve been working on music all this time since I got back from mandatory service, and Teddy-hyun once casually remarked, “Now’s the time for you and Jimin to release a really good song. Everyone will like it.” When I heard this, I was really shocked. I never thought of anything like that before.”
He continued, “But since I’ve never asked people to be in my music before, it was hard for me to find a way to do it. I’ve always thought about it, but last year I was invited to several events and met BTS members. I finally met Jimin and as we talked about this and that, we naturally talked about how great it would be to work together on music. From there I was able to invite him into the studio to work on this song. »

“We started shooting first and the results exceeded our expectations, so I remember we were both very happy. We looked like a classic hip-hop duo.
