Introduction: Pranks can often be a source of entertainment, but when it comes to playing a prank in a supermarket, it can be a source of controversy. Recently, a prankster on TikTok divided the audience after recording himself telling buyers that their products were free. The prankster was seen walking down a supermarket aisle in Australia and announcing that everything in aisle 15 would be free for the next two minutes. His joke fooled some of the people in the store, with some customers rushing to the freezer aisle and grabbing the merchandise. While some found it harmless and funny, others condemned it and called it cruel. This isn’t the first time a joke has divided opinion on TikTok, as previously a man caused controversy after placing a beautiful doll on his wife’s bed to see her reaction.

The prankster divided the audience TikTok after recording him telling buyers that their products were free.

In the 24-second clip, a man walks down a supermarket aisle at a store in Australia, then picks up a microphone and addresses customers.

“The cooling system is temporarily down, so everything in aisle 15 will be free for the next two minutes. Thank you,” he announced.

His joke fooled some of the people in the store, with some customers rushing to the freezer aisle, grabbing the merchandise and quickly going to the cash register. A customer was carrying several boxes of ice cream in his hands, and his child was looking on.

The prankster then burst into laughter as shoppers tried to collect lots of frozen food, which they were later asked to pay for.
