Tim Allen denies Pamela Anderson’s viral story about how he set her on fire on the set of ‘Home Improvement’ ⋆ Somag News

Actress/model Pamela Anderson recently returned to the spotlight thanks to a Broadway run in Chicago, an upcoming Netflix documentary, and her new memoir, With Love, Pamela. And in this upcoming book, she claims that Tim Allen showed her up on the set of “Home Improvement.” Although the Toy Game actor has come up with his own response to this accusation.

Ahead of the release of Pamela Anderson’s book, Variety obtained an excerpt, including when she claims Tim Allen showed her his genitals on the first day of filming on the 1990s sitcom Home Improvement. During the series, she appeared in 23 episodes. In response to this statement, Allen released a brief statement saying:

No, it never happened. I would never do that.

That statement came alongside a Variety story in which the 69-year-old actor denied ever showing his genitalia to Pamela Anderson on the set of “Home Improvement.” However, this excerpt from “Love, Pamela” is now online. And I have to wonder if a longer response is coming from Tim Allen. Still, that’s a pretty serious charge.

With Love, Pamela won’t hit shelves until Jan. 31, but the allegations against Tim Allen are just one of the many complex stories she tells in the memoir. The citation for the alleged flashing incident reads as follows:

On the first day of shooting, I came out of my dressing room and Tim was in the hallway in a bathrobe. He unbuttoned his robe and quickly rushed towards me – completely naked underneath. He said it was fair because he saw me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed awkwardly.

As mentioned earlier, Pamela Anderson went on to appear in a number of episodes of “Home Improvement” as Lisa, Instrumental Girl, during the first two seasons on the air. But she ended up leaving the show for her lead role as CJ Parker in The Malibu Rescuers. As for Tim Allen, he has obviously continued to appear in various roles on TV and in movies, most recently The Last Survivor and Disney+’s Santa Claus.

While it remains to be seen how Tim Allen will release a more detailed statement regarding this allegation, this is just the latest allegation of sexual harassment to emerge since the #MeToo movement began. Hollywood, in particular, has undergone seismic changes as influential figures have been exposed for their inappropriate behavior. Allen has been a beloved actor for decades, so Pamela Anderson’s statements are sure to catch the attention of many.

Following the release of Pam and Tommy on Hulu, Pamela Anderson the upcoming Netflix documentary and accompanying memoir will apparently allow her to finally tell her own story. And according to her, that includes an unpleasant experience with Tim Allen early in their working relationship.

Both “Love, Pamela” and the Netflix documentary “Pamela, a Love Story” will be released on January 31. In the meantime, check out the list of midseason premieres to plan your next binge.
