A rag N’ Bone Man made a surprise appearance on stage last night, joining Eastenders star Sean Williamson in Tunbridge Wells.
Williamson, best known for his role as Barry in the long-running soap, held one of his ‘Barrioke’ events at the Kent Town Forum on Saturday (January 21), where he sang along to chart-topping hits.
During last night’s show, Rag N’ Bone Man made a surprise performance, performing his hit ‘Human’ and changing the lyrics to ‘Don’t Blame Barry’.
Williamson also played an inflatable guitar during the performance, footage and photos of which you can see Below.
Rag N’ Bone Man isn’t the first pop star to duet with Barry, after Williamson joined Sam Fender on stage at Truck Festival last summer.
The musician headlined the truck festival in Oxfordshire on Saturday night and surprised fans by being joined on stage by Williamson, who sang “Getting Started” at the start of his performance. Fender called the moment “one of the most important moments of our career” for him and his band.
Elsewhere, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man appeared alongside IDLES, Portishead and a host of other musicians in a new mental health film called Man Down.
The film, directed by Gemma Jennison, the founder of the Man Down programme, is dedicated to men working in the music industry and touches on themes such as isolation, depression and suicide.
Jennison, a qualified mental health nurse from Bristol told BBC News that male musicians are particularly at high risk of serious mental health problems.
